(MINNEAPOLIS)—March 24, 2008— Meet Minneapolis, the Official Convention and Visitors Association, and the Minneapolis Convention Center have been recognized by Minnesota Meetings + Events magazine’s prestigious annual "Best Of" awards. Meet Minneapolis was awarded "Best CVB" which acknowledged the convention and visitors bureau for its outstanding service and information while Minneapolis Convention Center was awarded "Best Convention Center" for its outstanding meeting facility and excellence in service. Both awards are chosen by readers.
Meet Minneapolis was also recently awarded the Meetings & Conventions 2007 Gold Service Award. This prestigious award honors Convention and Visitors Bureaus that have excelled in professionalism and dedication in their service to meeting professionals. The Gold Meetings &Convention’s readers selected the winners.
